Used on a 2002 Chevy 2500hd 6.0 fits well but is shorter than the factory muffler so you will need some extensions. The sound is cleaner, not as hoarse as with borla pro xs, but grumpier.

The product arrived rusty and the inlets were dented. Have the pipes finely polished and straightened, but not yet installed. It boils down to a single tube inside, which seems restrictive.

Installed on my 550+ hp pickup. The sound in the cockpit is not too loud, but it sounds great from the outside. Excellent muffler for high compression engines.

Much louder than I expected from my 6.0 petrol Silverado 2500HD. The silencer certainly has an excellent build quality. Good stainless steel and easy installation. However, I'm looking for another option. It's a little quieter than without the silencer. I would definitely stop driving with this muffler.

Item as described. I added this to my 06 2500hd with 6.0 engine. Remember you will need to weld it in as it will not slide over standard tubing as the tubing diameter is the same. The muffler sounds good and is louder than the original without waking the dead. It hums a bit on the freeway, but mine blows out after the muffler, which probably makes it worse than coming out through the OE tailpipe.

I had an old worn out stock muffler which I ended up cutting off. I liked the sound without the silencer, but it lost a lot of power, especially on the bottoms. Bought this damper based on good reviews. The muffler arrived earlier than expected and matches the stock pipes perfectly and sounds fantastic.
