Review on 🚴 Giro Quarter MIPS: The Ultimate Adult Dirt Cycling Helmet for Unmatched Safety and Performance by Andrew Dickens

This is the best helmet of this type I have ever used! I have used the Triple Eight Brainsaver in the past which was a great helmet but had an issue with the shell separating from the foam. This helmet doesn't seem to have that problem, but I haven't used it long enough to be sure. I also noticed how well this helmet ventilates for this style. This is not a mountain bike helmet, but my head sweats significantly less than my Triple Eight. The helmet also has a thick shell so it sticks out about 3cm from your face. While I thought it was weird at first, it didn't really matter in the end. I don't have many complaints about this helmet, but the biggest one I notice is that the chin strap is tight around the neck, which can become very uncomfortable after a while. I think that's probably something that properly adjusted straps could fix. The only other complaint I have, while fussy, is that the MIPS liner can get stuck in your hair and pull it out when you take it off. It's not a complaint, but this helmet is a little big. But at the end of the day it's a great helmet and I feel very confident doing big tricks. Giro has always made great products and the series continues.
