Good Quality Level - Measuring and Marking Tools

This is a good quality that will hopefully last a long time. To be honest, even my low quality levels seem to last forever - I've never had a single break, but I use it so often that the idea of having a really good "Fitted Box Precision Level Master" has intrigued me . It's not as pretty as some of the levels from years past, but it's a nice, well-made, solidly built level. It's plated steel, not brass - the body is plated metal (aluminum?) and feels and performs like good hardware. The box is well made. It is not currently for sale so I don't know the current price as I was lucky enough to get it in exchange for a review. HOWEVER, I don't think it should be more than twenty-five dollars or so. For example, it's not $60 hardware, but it's a nice and solid piece, and I love that it's packaged in a well-made wooden case that shouldn't fall apart. good gift

Pros
  • "Accurate level is mainly used to check the straightness of the guideway of various machine tools and other types of equipment, and to check the horizontal and vertical position of equipment installation.
Cons
  • Vulgarity
