They are of low quality and as crazy as it sounds, they are really dangerous. The double-sided tape is attached to an incredibly thin piece of metal that you stick to the wall, and the metal plate has very sharp cut edges. Think of a can after opening, but about 5 times thinner. It wouldn't be a big problem but there is a plastic sheet on the metal that needs to be removed and that sheet is exactly the same size as the metal. I cut my hand on both lanterns trying to remove the foil. I was very careful after the first cut so the second wasn't as deep, but the sharp cut edges and the foil with no burr to peel make it almost impossible to apply without putting pressure on the metal. Then when my girlfriend tried to move the light, which means peeling the double sided tape/metal off the wall, she cut herself too. I swear we're not slackers or alarmists, but it's hard to deal with without cutting yourself!
