Review on πŸ”ͺ Rada Cutlery Stainless Steel Resin Vegetable Peeler, 7-1/4 Inches, Black Handle - American Made by Kristine Black

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought three of these. I love her. Just do yourself a favor and grab a black pen.

I'm not sure I can explain why I love the Rada peeler so much. The peeling blade feels hard. The handle feels good. Won't bend or rattle when peeling potatoes. He just does what he has to do. The quality reminds me of my mother's kitchen utensils that are over 40 years old and still in daily use. I bought my first Rada black handled peeler many years ago. It disappeared, probably thrown in the trash along with a bunch of rags. The only Rada I could find as a replacement was the silver (aluminum) grip version. This silver version is slightly larger but dishwasher safe. And of course it has accidentally ended up in the dishwasher several times. Each time you have to go through the process of deoxidation before it is comfortable to hold again. I finally broke down and ordered another black Rada pen. I keep the silver one in my desk drawer for use when needed, but I definitely prefer the dishwasher safe one.
