Review on 🚚 20 Cubic Feet Waterproof Rooftop Cargo Carrier - Anti-Slip Mat & Reinforced Straps - Ideal Car Top Carrier for All Vehicles with or without Rack by Doug Bunkers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For the first trip like a good bag

5 stars with reservations. First, I only used it on an 11-hour, 80-mph ride with no rain. And second, I would get 4 stars for my particular roof rack. We continue the review. The bag is made from a heavy material that appears to hold up to some testing. Common intellectual punishment for not holding a bed of nails. The straps are wide and heavy, and the buckles feel just as strong as regular ABS plastic. The zipper is not very good but it closes. I feel like it's a size smaller than it should be for the app, but then again it closes. My roof rack doesn't have side rails, it's flat. Since the straps are on the side of the bag, they had to go down to go around the counter and then back up. Nothing bad, but the load on the joint turned out to be different than perhaps intended. But even if the rack had rails, the straps would still need to be pulled outward as the bag isn't nearly as wide as the rack. I think this is a good bag and will last a long time. For disclosure I used 1 of my own ratchets. Belt, not because I thought it wouldn't work, but because I didn't want to spend 11 hours worrying about it. All straps of the bag stayed tight. The photo shows a way to keep an eye on the bag while driving. If you can see the shadow, you can see if there's anything flapping around.
