Not so durable in kitchen and dining room

I bought this jug and it broke on the first day of use. Very disappointed. I made lemonade and stirred it with a metal spoon. And suddenly there was water everywhere. It was broken near the bottom and there was a two inch hole in it. I bought it because you should use it for heat sources, so I thought it was hard glass. Update: I informed them of the broken pitcher and asked for either a replacement or a refund. Got a new one a few days later. I was surprised how quick the process was. I'm happy because I really thought it was a nice mug. I'll update if I encounter any problems with it.
