Fits our water meter

The only way to access the plumbing disconnected from our home is to remove the sidewalk meter's round metal cover. This key fits perfectly into the curved keyhole on the lid and is made of metal (brass?). When you insert the key, turn it to retract the locking mechanism, which allows you to lift the lid. So if you need to turn off the water in an emergency, you can easily find it. The last thing you want to do is search the tool chest for the key!
