Review on ๐Ÿ  NO.17 Submersible Aquarium Internal Filter Pump, Adjustable Fish Tank Filter with Water Pump for Optimal Water Filtration in Fish Tank by Pamela Begay

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This filter is a great addition as a powerhead with added filtering.

I tested the internal filter for the #17 dive aquarium today and I have to say I am satisfied. Here are some of my notes. Pros: Easy to disassemble as it is already assembled. This is in an indoor aquarium - Reusable Filter Media - A small tube was added to increase directional flow in a 40 gallon aquarium and it worked surprisingly well. Cons: The design is better suited for a small aquarium with very few fish or just an addition to create more water flow rather than filtering. (Which isn't actually a downside, just a downside in the name) - Small surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow. (I'll probably cut out the center stem and just replace all the filter sponges) The flow rate is drastic - the filter stages are loose on the power head.
