Matte does not transfer well but gloss works well

I'm disappointed that half of my purchase doesn't work well enough to use on my wedding invitations. The haze was patchy when applied. I used the same method and setting and the same type of paper for all the invitations. You can see the silver matte color is more mottled than the gold glitter in the photos I share. I used a WMRK foil tip (standard tip) with my Cricut Explore Air 2, which I understand is a compatible hot foil system. I used washi tape to attach the foil to the paper (65lb cover) and chose heavyweight stock for the cricut stock. I'm very happy with how the shiny metallic came out. I would recommend buying glitter foil separately and avoiding matte foil.
