Review on πŸ”§ Universal Chain Tool: High-Quality Breaker for Chain Link Removal, Repairs Road and Mountain Bikes, Easy Splitter - 1 to 12 Speed by Mike Morris

Works as intended - Cycling

This bike chain removal tool is very durable. I've used it several times and haven't seen anything bent unlike a cheaply made tool. The design ensures the chain fits snugly to the pin extrusion end. The only downside to this design is (1) the pin doesn't come all the way out through the hole on the other side of the tool. You should be able to feel the friction of the pin on the other end as you turn the rod. Another bike chain tool design with fingers in the middle, you can see the pin loosen instead of pushing it all the way out. (2) Pushing the pin back in ensures a tight fit. The thickness of the chain and the protruding pin mean you have to screw the screw all the way in. This bike chain tool is probably not for beginners. The tool now has a place in my toolbox. Next time I will use pliers on my new quick link bike chain.
