This product is phenomenal for Dosas! Yes! I know it's just a frying pan, but I have to tell you it's the best we've ever used. Recently I was trying to make the perfect masala dosa and I bought a 10-11 inch cast iron skillet and then another 14 inch cast iron skillet and they are good but the dosa gets stuck from time to time. and you must spend time seasoning them. What I like about this pan Size - Big size for big cans ;). 13 inch which is perfect2. Thickness: The pan is thicker than most other non-stick pans I've seen and retains heat well3. The non-stick coating is excellent. The Dos literally swims out of the pan! A slight exaggeration, but you'll see! ;) I hope this helped. Don't get fat twice. I've seen several reviews that the floor isn't flat, which was an issue for some. We use gas and this is not a problem for us.
