When I was looking for a good lip plumper I was disappointed by the reviews. Some people thought it was great while others said it burned their lips. I think one even claimed it caused blisters. The tube says DO NOT GET ON THE SKIN AROUND THE MOUTH. I did it once and it really burned. In this case, use some oil (I used coconut oil) to stop the burning. I have tried many plump lips and this one is very good. It makes my lips plump and moisturizes for a very long time. Many of the ones I've tried go away quickly after you've had a drink, or they dry out your lips. It's not like this. It has no aftertaste at all. Just a spicy warm feeling. It doesn't really make your lips look plump. So if you're looking for drastic results, injections really are all you need. If you are looking for something that will smooth your lips, hydrate them and make them look fuller, I highly recommend this.
