When I was looking for a good lip plumper I was disappointed by the reviews. Some people thought it was great while others said it burned their lips. I think one even claimed it caused blisters. The tube says DO NOT GET ON THE SKIN AROUND THE MOUTH. I did it once and it really burned. In this case, use some oil (I used coconut oil) to stop the burning. It definitely makes your lips plump. The problem is that it seems more like an irritation that is causing the swelling and it really stings. I didn't understand how to apply it so that the skin around the lips doesn't get irritated either. I tried a thinner product just down the center of my lips but it still makes the skin around my lips look red and irritated. Not quite the look I was looking for. After it rubbed off a little, my lips became more alive.

I bought this from Sephora when it first hit stores (maybe?). My lips are medium sized, perfectly formed and what not. I have a tube of Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme that I bought at my local makeup store about a year ago and it has works great. I just bought the exact same product here at Revain and it's not at all as effective as the other tube I have. Not sure if they changed the formula or just created a less potent product to sell cheaper on Revain.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It gave me really sore blisters on the inside of my mouth. I'm not allergic, I don't have sensitive skin and I've never had an adverse reaction to any product in my life so anything in this thing can't be safe. Did it work? Of course. But I couldn't eat or drink anything for 4 days after using it without flinching.
