It took me a long time to find the right mesh harness for my small dog. I don't really like running in harnesses. I like harnesses that sit higher, closer to where the collar should be. It seems to me that otherwise the suspension closes off the shoulder area at the front and can restrict movement. My dog is only 10 pounds and most harnesses are too big. She has a 13 inch chest. I bought xx-small for this pendant and it fits perfectly. I really like this pendant. The web is beautiful. I wish the straps were softer. But overall I'm very satisfied. Update: I bought a different harness for my other dog. He weighs 10 pounds and I'm x-small. It's great for the biggest settings. I wonder if I should have gone smaller instead, but I'm happy with the fit. He's a skinny dog. I have a feeling other 10 lb dogs may need a larger size. I took a needle and thread and adjusted the fit a bit. I am very happy with it. I have tried other harnesses and this is our favorite harness.
