I would give it five stars but as a few other reviewers here have noted , The release time was not as fast as announced. My applications were still sticky after 16 hours at 75 degrees. I tried mixing at a 2 to 1 ratio and mixing thoroughly. I use it to fill holes in pine knots in floorboards because I don't want to cut those knots out of long boards. (Mix epoxy with dry coffee grounds for paint, which is common for this). During application, I noticed that the gel time was over an hour, not 30 minutes (I used #2 hardener). It was ok as it gave me a lot of work time. However, the next day I was surprised to find that the treated areas were still quite sticky. However, I only used coarse sandpaper and they sand well - probably because the coffee grounds in the mix act as a dry powder to negate the stickiness of the epoxy itself. However, I would be concerned about this greatly increased curing time if I had to fully cure the material for another purpose like the guy who used it to repair the kayak. I've emailed System Three and I'm curious to see what they have to say. The people complaining about the slow cure time here noted that they had used this product before and it cured "on schedule" and felt that the new batch should change something about the formula.
