Although my fridge freezer is less than 6 months old and has a water line filter, ice and water are terrible. So I use a zero water pitcher to filter all the water. Side by side fridge freezers don't take up much space and that's just me so I only use one tray and I don't even need the ice bucket box that comes with this set. It was nice that he came along if I ever needed it. The ice ball molds are easy enough to remove from the tray with a quick twist of the wrist to release them. I just take off what I need, put the lid back on and slide it back in the freezer. Happy with my purchase.
