I did A LOT of research - hope this review saves you time

As a trained engineer, I did extensive research on which juicer to buy. I want to share with you why I chose this particular one and its pros and cons so I can save some of you some time. My top two selection criteria were food and #2 - juice should be EASY TO CLEAN. I decided I wouldn't use the juicer unless it was easy to clean. I don't like tidying up. I didn't use price as a filter criteria because I figured if I could get a juicer that squeezed the most juice, it would pay for itself over time, even if it costs more to buy. So here is my list of the best juicers. on the market for my needs and pros and cons: Omega VSJ843QS (*the one I bought) Pros: Squeezes the most juice out of almost any juicer. It's the easiest to clean. practically no pulp remains in the juice. Best Engineered Auger Design - They've taken the best features from other brands and incorporated them into their latest auger to squeeze the maximum amount of juice. Relatively small area. Guarantee 15 years. Cons: Hard veggies like some roots can get stuck so you have to turn them over. Not versatile - can't make almond milk or do other things. Best used only for making juices of all kinds. It's not cheap. Slowstar Tribest Pro: Very versatile - comes with attachments and can make almond milk and more in addition to juices. Cons: Harder to clean compared to Omega VSJ. Too big, wouldn't fit under my counter. Omega J8006 Pros: Relatively cheap. extracts a lot of juice, but not as much as the omega above. Produces some pulp in the juice (for those who like pulp). Easy to clean. Guarantee 15 years. Cons: Large size - takes up a lot of disk space. Produces pulp (I don't like pulp). Vegetables should be inserted into the auger with a pusher. Unlike vertical models, vegetables are not fed into the machine by gravity. Conclusion: As of June 1, 2015, the Omega VSJ843QS is, in my opinion, the best vegetable juicer on the market.
