This is just what I needed under my desk to make better use of a single outlet and eliminate cord clutter. One of them is forgivable that the three sockets are very close together, which limits what you can plug into them. Most chargers for phones and similar devices will not fit, and even some thicker power cords can block nearby outlets. But as I said, it doesn't really matter because it doesn't have to be more than a short, handy expander. However, there is another problem that I think is serious. The way they designed it, when you plug it into an outlet, the other three-outlet end is pointing backwards against the wall, making it impossible to plug anything into it. Because the cord is very thick and braided, it's not easy to rotate it 180 degrees so the outlets are facing you and away from the wall. The most I can do is rotate the cord 90 degrees so that the outlets are on the floor and facing up. It's a pity that one didn't think of this shortcoming, which makes an excellent product only partially acceptable.
