Not what I ordered for power strips and surge protectors

I didn't read the reviews! I just looked at the photo, read "cable length 1ft" and assumed that's what I was going to get. In the photo of the product, the cord can be rolled into a ring, but in real life this is simply not the case. When I received my weird product, I read reviews that explained that the overall length of the product is 12 inches and the cable is only 6 inches. It is in order. I only wish it had been described. I started returning them and then realized I could use them…

A completely different topic.

The product I received was completely different from the description! What is this thing?! It's definitely not a "black GE expansion". It's yellowish-brown in color, cheaply made, and doesn't have grounded outlets. So disappointed. I'm not blind and this is the wrong product!

When you open the packaging and feel the build quality, YOU KNOW they're built to last. 1600+ watts means even a fridge can't handle it. 13 amps can flow through them, and a refrigerator can draw 3-6 amps! The cable is flexible but stiff. This product is sold under the GE trademark, which is one of the oldest American electrical product names. However, like many well-known brands such as Polaroid, Kodak and others, the GE name is only used under license - the product is actually from Jasco and made in China.
