Not exactly escape proof, pretty close and perfect fit.

It was hard to find a harness that fits my 3 lb kitten. He still wears it at 6 pounds. However, if I have a firm grip on the leash and he's trying to go somewhere, he can back away and kick with all his might, so I can't just tie him somewhere and think he's safe. But I just don't do it.
