Review on 🐶 Yellow Dog Design Christmas Chevron Dog Leash, Extra Small 3/8" x 60" - Festive Holiday Pet Leash for Smaller Dogs by Robert Trevino

This leash is amazing! The bright red leash color and beautiful snowflake pattern really make her stand out. I would like to walk my dog on this leash. However, I have serious concerns about the safety of this leash. I have a 12kg puppy and the leash is his lifeline. He's not very good at remembering names yet, has a lot of puppy energy and can really pull on the leash at times. If the leash breaks, there's a good chance he'll get stuck in a traffic jam or just run away from me. This leash has only a thin seam that holds the leash fabric to a buckle that attaches to the dog's collar. If that fine line of stitches somehow loosens or falls apart, there are no other stitches to hold the linen fabric to that buckle. The photo of this leash on Revain shows at least 2 rows of stitching on the buckle, but that didn't work for me. However, there are 2 stitches on the handle loop. I just don't think this leash is safe for a puppy. I can't understand why a manufacturer doesn't put pet safety first in their manufacturing process. This is the second leash I've ordered from Yellow Dog and the first had even worse stitching. I don't feel like I can trust any of them when it comes to my pup's safety.
