I used this product to hold my phone on a golf cart. It holds the stylus well and allows you to set the phone for a good viewing angle. The grip hasn't loosened yet, which is good. The phone stand holds the phone securely - just don't press the buttons on the sides of the phone when placing it in the holder. Elasticated corners provide additional security.
