Review on Bulge Chrome Thread Premium Wheel by Chris Pettway

It doesn't look like it's made of durable material.

Got these Honda lock nuts for an old Accord with center caps. Need a low profile so they remove the caps when installing. I do 100% of the work on my 93 Accord except changing tires and balancing. I had a set of Honda brand lock nuts (above these) and while they fit, they were a bit heavier/bulky than these open ended nuts. I remove the locking tabs and replace them with stock Honda nuts when I want the car to turn and balance so the tire changers don't have to deal with the locking tabs. Then I put the cabinets back in. I know what standard eyelets look like when tightened. When I put them on, it seemed to me that the locknuts would keep turning until they broke the bolt or fell off. Mechanics "know" that feeling when it just "don't feel" when it should be tight. I think the material isn't hardened or whatever they do with the nuts to make them strong. Maybe I'm wrong and I'll see how they do it, but I'm pretty sure they won't handle the recommended 80lb/ft of torque without disassembly. You can send them back if you need 100% confidence in the wheel mounting hardware.
