I used the crimper and ferrules to replace the tinned wire ends of my 3D printer mainboard connections. Tinned power wires going into terminal blocks are not the safest practice and bare wires are not always easy to insert. Crimped ferrules offer a good solution to both of these issues. The crimper feels very solid and works well. The kit comes with a good assortment of ferrules and they seem to be good quality parts. The included wire cutter/stripper is very basic but works well enough. Surprisingly, everything fits back in the included case easily and it too seems well constructed. Overall, I'm quite happy with this kit and would buy it again.
