I've been using the GameGolf as a hit tracker for about a year and while it works well I was interested in trying one of the systems that doesn't require you to touch the belt clip. every time. At first I was concerned that the SS V2 would look huge on my thin wrists, but it's actually not that bad, and not even that noticeable when I put on a black golf glove. As for comfort, I don't even know if it's there when I'm playing, other than when I'm reviewing footage or collecting pins after completion. Following the instructions in the manual, it was very easy to set up and tag my clubs. It takes a while to charge, but the battery life seems very good. I played just over 3 hours and the battery life was only reduced by 2/3. Sure, the GPS took a minute or two to fix the course, but everything was smooth after that. I tested the GPS part in the crowd one evening and the distance was pretty accurate compared to my teammates' rangefinder. When I later played alone, I was able to test hit tracking. I used to do a practice shot or two before every real shot, which was basically just swinging the racquet around a bit. I couldn't tell he missed a single shot and I even picked out a few that I missed on my scorecard. It didn't always go into pin collection mode when I bet on the edge of the green, but that's a very small thing. I like the pin collection mode. This makes putting much easier: just lay out the number of putts over the hole and record it. It's far better than remembering to mark every shot for someone who often hits 2 or 3. The stats provided by the mobile app once the rounds are loaded are also great and a little depressing, but I can't fault V2 for that. . Also, the notches are the same as the Game Golf, smaller and don't require a battery, which was a big reason I preferred the Arccos as I didn't have to carry the phone in my pocket. The ability to use only GPS or only shot tracking or both is another great feature. Overall I would say this is a great device at a reasonable price and a good investment in your golf game.
