Good watch but poor instructions

I bought this watch to see how far I could hit with clubs and found it to work partially, but so far I haven't been able to use it very well on a trip to the track to work accurately and the supplied manual is not very complete. I followed the instructions but the download results were inaccurate. The distances to greens and hazard were accurate, and the distances to greens and hazard from the ball on the fairway appeared accurate. I could use that on the track. The distance of each shot was…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Problems

Battery life lasted for a full round (less than 4 hours) and died on the 3rd hole when I was playing the top 9 again. The field I play on has large tree canopies along the fairways. If you hit the edge of the fairway or in the rough next to a tree, the GPS was unable to capture the impact. Several shots fired into the open were not recorded. They say you have to do a few practice swings for the GPS to find you. Even with 4-5 practice swings and subsequent ball contact, he didn't count all the…

Great device to see how bad you are at golf. :P

I've been using the GameGolf as a hit tracker for about a year and while it works well I was interested in trying one of the systems that doesn't require you to touch the belt clip. every time. At first I was concerned that the SS V2 would look huge on my thin wrists, but it's actually not that bad, and not even that noticeable when I put on a black golf glove. As for comfort, I don't even know if it's there when I'm playing, other than when I'm reviewing footage or collecting pins after…

Feeling no love

The idea of this watch is great and for the most part does what it is supposed to. There are a few little things that combine to reduce my attitude towards them. The watch is large in length and height, but I knew that before I bought it. What I didn't know is that the watch is shaped to fit an average man's wrist and is a tall guy. They are too short which makes them uncomfortable as they fit over the bones of the wrist during use. The charging port is protected by a small rubber band. a piece
