Review on 🎵 Ortofon OM 20 Replacement Stylus by Rebecca Bright

Well I was hoping to hear a night and day difference compared to my om10 pen. Instead, I hear subtle differences. Differences that make listening more musical and enjoyable. The two cartridges I have used over the last few years are Super om10 and Audio Technica VM 540ml. I would swap between these two cartridges, but now that I have an om20 stylus it will be the carriage and stylus combo on my tonearm from now on. Don't get me wrong, the Audio Technica is one hell of a cartridge and you can't go wrong if you have it and are using it. But this om20 pen penetrates the groove like never before. I hear high frequencies that add life to the recording. I hear great depth of sound field of sound. To date I have never had a pickup and pickup with such a high frequency response without harsh sibilance like this om20. But that doesn't detract from the dignity of om10, om10 itself is a very good stylus. But this om20 gives me all the musicality of the om10 but with better resolution, better highs and more defined and well controlled bass. I never would have believed that simply changing the stylus with the same pickup could make such a big difference in sound. You know what? I just realized I was describing the difference between day and night.
