People don't often think of buying their little ones a well-made memory foam pillow like they would buy for themselves, but I always get the best for my grandchildren, I partially wanted a memory foam pillow for them because their heads are so soft and yet malleable and could potentially form a flat back if they don't have the right support. I don't like those donut shaped toddler or infant pillows because they look uncomfortable! I chose one of these forms because it looked more convenient. It's good for your health to have good support pillows for sleep, not sleep or a whole night! Arrived and the quality is perfect and exceeds all expectations. It's bigger than a normal baby pillow, heavier due to the memory gel and much better quality than a cheap feather pillow! It is well made and has a nice heavy duty zip so it can be easily removed for washing. It fits the pillowcase I bought which lists a standard toddler pillowcase just a little tight, but I'm okay with that because I know it won't slip off. Grandchildren sleep on it, his neck will not be bent or curved in an uncomfortable way, he can sleep on his back or side, the height of the pillow is designed for babies! My grandson's head is shaped to do this, once he lays down, just squeeze a little and my hand slowly sinks into it! The gel makes it heavy so it doesn't slide off his bed much, I usually wake up with his other pillow on the floor! Not this one! This is not a rigid gel pad, it is flexible and can be bent. I don't want anyone to think it's too heavy or hard, it's like a good quality pillow but gel like foam! The cost of this is more than I'm willing to pay, but it's worth it knowing my grandkids won't develop flatheads. (I've seen some flat headed kids lying down wrong that's sad) Also the quality justifies the cost, I just bought a waterproof case for it so I can help keep this long lasting for future grandkids to use . In my opinion, supporting your head properly is just as important as supporting yourself! The child is no different. I suggest the parents I work with invest a little in pillows like this, because when it counts. If you are a mom-to-be you should add her to your registry, this is something no one would buy! Based on the reason I bought it, the quality, my grandson's response to the comfort and durability, I would recommend it. .
