This lens is an extreme macro photographer's dream, it doesn't help with the optical B&W station or with blur, but you don't need it for extreme macro. Remember that this type of photography requires a lot of patience and shots to get results. Also, you had to learn and know what you're doing, you don't become a macro photographer, if you buy this lens you become a macro photographer.
