My son is 5.5 years old and I bought him a size 6-7. The pants fit him. I have to say that my son is a bit taller than other kids his age, but going up a size doesn't hurt. The pants are really comfortable. Compared to my son's other pants, this pair feels very soft and breathable. I like it.
