Review on Efficient V AquaVista Aquatics Brine Shrimp Hatchery: A Guide to Successful Shrimp Breeding by April Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but high quality product, excellent customer service.

Artemia hatcheries are definitely more expensive. The materials appear to be 3D printed and are very durable. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The device is easy to assemble. Initially I had an issue with the airflow coming out of the base. It started out strong and within a day or two the flow slowed or stopped entirely due to what appeared to be a blockage. I contacted support and Dave was very helpful and sent me a replacement base which solved the problem. Overall I would recommend this product if you need a lot of brine shrimp. If you are just looking for something small I would refer you elsewhere. The legs and rounded base seem a bit superfluous. To improve I suggest lowering the center of gravity and widening the base a bit, as well as getting rid of the legs to potentially save parts and reduce costs. But I suppose the higher height might have been to fit the cup comfortably under the spout, which I find unnecessary.
