My Loveseat is a cross between a "giant chair" and a real two-seater sofa. So I ordered a size larger. I stapled the bottom first, then tucked everything in neatly (using the included foam rollers) and started using a simple ladder to create the stitching and fit it to my sofa. Once in the last few months I've had to adjust the seams to keep them in place, but I have no problem pulling the fabric out of the pillows. If you want to restore an old sofa cheaply, this is a reliable method. Just make sure your cushions aren't coming loose and don't permanently tape them to the sofa before you come to your senses. I won't turn my head, but okay.
