I've ridden my bike everywhere for about forty years and have never used any type of padded saddlebag. I always found that frivolous. Of course, saddles are often uncomfortable at a distance, but this has never been too much of an inconvenience. Wow how wrong I was. What an incredible difference! The saddlecloth is like sitting on the couch and you sit a little higher, which made me very happy. I wish I had tried that sooner. The installation is very easy. Pull on the front first, then pull down the back. You now have two long pieces of Velcro to secure this. What I did was slide the flaps through these horizontal support bars just under the saddle and then pull them up, cross them over each other and attach the Velcro to the back of the saddle boot. No slip. I don't think I'll ever come back.
