Anything, including the Dyson, is only as good as its weakest link, in this case the thin and brittle plastic clip that holds the bottom of the canister closed. Mine was opened many times during use and eventually broke. This replacement unit is as described and is part of the Dyson OME. Arrived in new condition and delivered on time. It has a 4 pin connector to attach the probe and motor and provides a snug fit. This particular unit fits my V6 Motorhead Dyson but not all Dyson models. So be careful before ordering Dyson replacement parts.
