Much cheaper than buying a new vacuum cleaner

I dropped the Dyson and the glass cracked and could not be used. Luckily I was able to buy these as a replacement. Delivered much quicker than if I went straight through Dyson where they had a back order. Installation wasn't the easiest, but I watched a YouTube video and was able to figure it out.

Great replacement - easy install

So before I swap out the whole vacuum I thought I'd give it a try. My vacuum was fine, but the latch on the bottom wouldn't stay closed. I made sure it was compatible with my model and when it arrived it was so easy to replace. Very easy. It worked well for me and I'm so glad I didn't need a new vacuum. Very happy!

This does NOT fit our Dyson DC 59 accessories!

Although it fits DC59, it doesn't fit accessories like Animal DC59 cleaning brush (long, with drive rollers) which we mainly use with DC59. I have no idea why they did this, but I'm very upset that I spent money just replacing the dust cup so it can't be used with a floor cleaning tool. :/

Definitely fits the V6 Motörhead+ and works great.

, I had it for about a month after the latch on the OEM basket broke. So far it has been reliable and functionally equivalent to the OEM. No complaints and I received it much quicker and cheaper than if I had ordered it from Dyson. Also, the Dyson website makes it incredibly difficult to identify the correct part. So, for all the ambiguity in the reviews, let me reiterate, if you have a Dyson V6 Motorhead+ order Dirt Cup 966080-01. he fits

Will not fit original DC59 motor heads (but there is an easy fix!)

Ideal for DC59 but original DC59 animal motor heads will not fit. I had to buy a new extension tube to use this clear animal head container. Not the most elegant solution, but it solved the problem of corroded connections in my original Dyson hopper assembly, and it was a lot cheaper than vacuuming new or sending my vacuum back to Dyson for repairs. Correct replacement canister for Dyson V6 Motorhead

Anything, including the Dyson, is only as good as its weakest link, in this case the thin and brittle plastic clip that holds the bottom of the canister closed. Mine was opened many times during use and eventually broke. This replacement unit is as described and is part of the Dyson OME. Arrived in new condition and delivered on time. It has a 4 pin connector to attach the probe and motor and provides a snug fit. This particular unit fits my V6 Motorhead Dyson but not all Dyson models. So be…
