Decent and affordable watercolor paper is hard to come by. Some of the best watercolor paper costs over $20 for a small number of sheets. If you want a satisfying watercolor paper but don't want to spend a lot of money on it, Strathmore Cold Press paper is perfect for you. Although it will warp if you use a lot of water, it helps a lot to tape the paper to a hard surface to make this easier. The paper itself is a bit jagged (rough to the touch) and the colors blend well as you draw. I'm a beginner watercolor painter and am attaching a picture I drew on this paper.
