I don't like this watercolor paper

I don't like this watercolor paper. The paper I received is like smudges in the sense that parts of the paper are not absorbing ink. In the photo I use Holbein quality paint. If you're looking for cheap paper, I like the Canson 30-sheet backing paper better, and Bienfang's brand is by far the best. I'll use this one, but then I'll try Fabriano Artistico and Arches, which should be really great watercolor papers, pricier but worth the money.

This is really bad quality.

I'm not happy with that at all. It almost looks like a fake product. The water forms layers on the paper, it deforms like hell and the watercolor doesn't come up. I really would like my money back. The product cover is glossy while the original I bought from Blick's has a watercolor paper texture. The paper itself is smooth with almost no texture. The original has a rough texture and doesn't warp nearly as much. To be honest, I think it's fake

Everyday watercolor artists. Here's the paper you're looking for!

Decent and affordable watercolor paper is hard to come by. Some of the best watercolor paper costs over $20 for a small number of sheets. If you want a satisfying watercolor paper but don't want to spend a lot of money on it, Strathmore Cold Press paper is perfect for you. Although it will warp if you use a lot of water, it helps a lot to tape the paper to a hard surface to make this easier. The paper itself is a bit jagged (rough to the touch) and the colors blend well as you draw. I'm a…

I don't know what's wrong with this paper. Almost every sheet has something invisible that keeps the paper from staining, causing the ink to pool and resist color. I even tried the back of the paper in case I missed something. Disappointing because I really like the 400 series paper and surprisingly the Vision watercolor bases (this is a practice paper and they are much better than this 300 series paper). Unfortunately I didn't find out too late and I didn't have enough time to return. So I…

Terrible quality even for a beginner

DO NOT BUY. Some areas of the paper have spots that do not absorb water or ink. It's like there's a waxy residue blocking the watercolor's absorption. This is very frustrating because you can't see those marks on the paper until you start painting and then it ruins the shape you make. I tried drawing a second sheet of this paper in case the first sheet was defective, but unfortunately the next sheet had the same problems. All the time and effort I put into sketching was wasted once I applied…
