Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Meidase Advanced Activated Waterproof Monitoring: Cutting-Edge Technology for Superior Surveillance by Harry Tulsa

Very good recording quality

I have different types of camera traps ranging from $30 to $180 and this Meidase camera is probably the best of them all. The photo quality is very good and the video quality is phenomenal as most of it falls short here. The quality of the video picture is the best and the audio captures everything and is reproduced clearly. My only complaint is that the audio contains a buzzing noise reminiscent of a 16mm projector. I'm 70 so I remember 16mm projectors. It doesn't drown out the sound but is present in the background. If two people are talking ten meters away I can clearly hear what they are talking about - which by the way wasn't what I was looking for - but I use this to illustrate the quality of the sound. I didn't. The camera has been around a long time but I've had it for a few months now and it's sat in the trees through snow storms and downpours and weathered it all very well. I highly recommend and will buy more of these. In a few days. I immediately ordered a second one. A few months later. I have ordered a third one. The sound issue I mentioned in my original review is only on the first one I got. The other two don't. I've bought dozens of camera traps over the years, including much more expensive ones, and they all outperform them for day and night photos, video and audio.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Expensive
