Purchased for a 2011 Town and Country with a powered overhead door. When the tailgate was opened, it opened and then slammed/closed automatically. He hit two members of my family and me on the head. I did a bit of internet research and all the signs pointed to the racks being defective. I ordered them, it only took me 2 minutes to figure out how to install them (all you need is a flathead screwdriver to pry back the metal clips so they slide over the ball joints). Have someone hold the sunroof all the way up, or use a pole or ladder to hold it up while you remove and replace the old jambs. After installation, the tailgate works like new, no problems. $25 repair and just a few minutes of my time, which would probably be hundreds if I took it to the store. Easy to fix.
