Perfect fit for my 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Touring. One of the original ones exploded while I was driving. At first it seemed to me that I had hit something, and then I realized that the gate did not open. Installation was very easy and solved another problem I had: auto close sometimes not working.

Don't waste your money on these elevators. I figured it might be worth saving a little. These elevators performed worse in cold weather than the ones that originally came with my 2013 CHRYSLER city and suburban minivan. When I open the tailgate manually without a hitch, these gas struts don't raise the tailgate when it's cold. and it's straight out of the box, brand new. I got what I paid for.

The first thing I noticed was that this replacement for my 2013 Dodge Caravan is a little thinner than the original. I opened the button and it works with mine. There are two in the box, I only replaced one side. The exchange took me less than 4 minutes. Watching the video for 5 seconds helped. I would definitely buy it again, it's better than paying someone else for it like I often have to do.

The quality for the price is amazing. It was a little tricky to take apart the metal part holding the ball but other than that it's very good for the price. Would definitely recommend the product and would definitely buy it again. It's best to pay almost $50 for just 1. It's so great that I can use the tailgate's full potential without having to stand and hold it while loading groceries. I am absolutely a very satisfied customer.

We bought these to replace the stock struts on our 2013 T&C as the tailgate gave a little when opening automatically. Important! You do this at your own risk! Ladder racks have been installed to prevent the door from collapsing! The tailgates have a significant weight! A lone post won't keep the gate open!
