We bought these to replace the stock struts on our 2013 T&C as the tailgate gave a little when opening automatically. When I opened the box the replacement parts were a bit thinner than stock which wasn't necessarily a problem but it should have been. After installing new replacement parts, we pressed the automatic opener and to our great surprise, the door only opened about 3/4. 4 ways up. We figured the cooler temperatures might mean it would take a few cycles to fully expand, so we left it on for a few days. After 4 days of raising and lowering, the door has not improved. It is very frustrating to order an "exact replacement" and find out that it is a poor quality product. Lesson learned.
