Fine lines for precise marking

I bought this chalk pencil a while back and then took a few months off from sewing as the kids were home for the summer. It's really hard to sew when there's always a 3 year old and a 6 year old in the house! Now that school has started again, I finally have a chance to rip out some fabric and sew it together. I made a pleated skirt for my daughter and had to mark a lot of lines both to cut out the details and to mark the lines of the pleats. Wow! It was a lot better than my old tailors' chalk blocks. The lines are thinner and I can actually place them on a ruler for very accurate measurement markings. And just like other chalk, this one is erased without a trace. I'm so glad I bought it and I know I'll be using it on many future projects. Silver is clearly visible on both light and dark fabrics. This color will probably be my favorite color, but I think I'll buy other colors if silver doesn't show up well.
