Review on Mighty Paw Waterproof Alternative Smell Proof by Elaine Olek

When I opened the box (see photo) I was impressed by the bright, reflective colors and the weight of the Biothane. When I opened and stretched the collar (see photos) I still liked the weight of the Biothane and noticed that the stitching on the collar was well done and strong. The clasp and tag on the collar are strong. I personally prefer a metal buckle on the collar, but that's rare these days. When I fitted the collar for my dog it was easy but the slider stayed in place when I put the collar on to see if it would slip on its own. The clasp stayed in place even during the actual outing. I like the fact that this collar is waterproof and easy to clean. I tested it on my Vizsla in my pond area (see photo). We walked around the pond several times, once in the morning when there was a heavy dew. My dog wore a collar, ran, played with other dogs, and swam in the pond. After bathing, the collar did not remain wet and did not get dirty like cloth, braid or rope collars.
