Review on 🔧 High-Quality OEM BENEDETTO Auto Service Oil Drain Plug Gaskets/Crush Washers (10 PCS) - Replaces Toyota 90430-12031 Aluminum (QTY10) by Randy Jagers

First of all I have to warn of this review that I have not used it. I changed the oil in my Toyota 4Runner just before I got those Benedetto drain plug washers and I don't want to throw away over $50 worth of fresh synthetic oil. I will update this review when I use it on my next oil change. I will now show how they compare to those I have already received from a Toyota dealer as I think you will be interested in knowing the differences. The ones I already got from the Toyota dealer. You can see that they differ in color (not so dark blue) and in texture. The color doesn't matter, except that the gasket is probably made of a different material and that can be very important. A different texture will also indicate that a different material was used, and this will likely determine whether Benedetto transpires or not. I must clearly understand that at the moment I do not know if they are leaking or leaking. All I know is that they are different and these differences are clearly visible in the photos. They are the same size as the Toyota dealer seals. I stacked them on top of each other and took a photo to post. I don't see any issues with their physical fit as they are the same inner and outer diameter and thickness. In fact, the Benedetto seems to be more precisely made than the ones I have from Toyota. The photos show that the Toyota's coating is a little chipped around the edges. The edges of the Benedetto are very clean. It doesn't matter what they look like. It's more about whether they run or not. At the moment I'm cautiously rating them 4 stars. Once I use one and prove it doesn't leak or spill throughout the oil change interval I will update my rating to 5 stars. I really hope the difference in materials is superficial and not the reason why they are sold here as so-called "factory seconds". If so I will come back to update this review to 5 stars. Worst case scenario there will be a leak which will be a real headache, you know what, and I'll update the review accordingly.
