I'm feeling a bit controversial writing this review; The grip looks, fits and feels very good, the buttons are mostly fine, but it absolutely kills the battery life, which is exactly the opposite of what I expect from a battery grip. I only received the base model without the remote, hoping I wouldn't have the battery drain issue that others have reported. I started with a freshly charged battery in both the grip and body, but after 153 rounds the body battery was down to 32% and the grip to 95%. I configured the D750 to use the grip battery first; This feature will not work properly with this grip. At this speed, I can shoot almost 9x more shots with just one battery in the body than with one battery in the grip and one in the body. Other issues I have is that the rotary controls and multi selector aren't even close to each other. be as smooth and precise as those on the body. Focus point selection jumps and jumps everywhere, and command wheels either skip a step or don't register a step, making the grip almost useless dead weight. The grip fit and finish is great and looks better than the price. make you believe but actual use and features remind you that this is just cheap fake nothing more.
