I am disappointed with this heat shield for two reasons, primarily the fit and finish. I ordered these plugs for my Ford Explorer v-6. They don't fit, they are too small in diameter at 1/2 inch. Instead of sending them back and dealing with returns which is mostly a hassle I use them in this case for my fuel lines near my manifolds They fit perfectly and will work very well In terms of quality I find them to be mediocre The material feels nice but the stitching at the end is loose and poorly cut Also, the end of the fiberglass cloth wears out, and that also makes fitting over the connector a bit more difficult because the loose, frayed edges pile up when he lifts the connector.
