Great item. I have used them on 9" ls1 male leads and they fit great. The first wire took about five minutes, and each additional wire took about a minute.

They work well and protect my plugs but there is a metal ring on one side that you have to thread the plug wires through. Just something to think about, unless you're willing to do a bit of tinkering or buy a cable assembly kit, then you're good to go.

I put them on a new set of Ford Racing 9mm cables for a 5.0 Fox Mustang with 45 degree collars on the connector end. They will fit, but it is difficult and takes a lot of time/patience to put them on the boot. I removed/discarded the metal ring on one end of these tubes and placed them on a 45 degree boot. They work like a Chinese finger trap; If you push them together, they open wider.

I am disappointed with this heat shield for two reasons, primarily the fit and finish. I ordered these plugs for my Ford Explorer v-6. They don't fit, they are too small in diameter at 1/2 inch. Instead of sending them back and dealing with returns which is mostly a hassle I use them in this case for my fuel lines near my manifolds They fit perfectly and will work very well In terms of quality I find them to be mediocre The material feels nice but the stitching at the end is loose and poorly…
