Review on Hunter 51010 Southern Fan Bleached by Jamie Studebaker

I replaced a 52" Hampton Bay fan with this Hunter, but the mounting bracket is too wide between the screws for my outlet. I don't have to and don't want to climb into my attic. Look at the picture. What a waste of time. I need a narrower mounting option than the black bracket. Also, it was so important that the design had to go from a round sphere to this three-sided sphere. I could throw a round ball into an existing bracket. This is just one of 6 ceiling fans in my house. Does anyone know when they decided to switch from a round ball to this weird triangular thing? I have two Hunter fans with round brackets.
