Review on 🔇 Sovol SV01 Silent Board (V2.2.1): Upgraded Silent Motherboard for Sovol SV01 3D Printer with TMC2208 Driver by Patrick Myers

As it says in the description, when installing in CRX, the board must be flashed under CRX. Don't forget the Touchscreen file (Flash) either. I don't have BL touch installed, I like old school pumping. I didn't get the 5 fin version of the driver but there were 5 voltage regulators on the board and I didn't have to adjust the voltage rating for the motors. Calm? Oh yeah! Now my PSU fans and the motherboard fan (drain) need to be replaced. All in all it's a version 2.2 board and now my CRX has the Creality 1.70.1 firmware which I had to flash a couple of times (tried CURA first. no) then xloader and it worked. I've only been printing for a year and a half (54 years), I'm happy with what I got out and my original board and firmware died. So this worked for me. It's been a year since I bought this board and I'm having problems with the Z direction. I bought and adjusted as many Z Stabilizers as I could get my hands on. I made marks on the support beams to make sure the gears are stable. I still have a z-lag that I can't fix with either the machine or the CURA 4.7 and 4.8 slicer. So. I'll remove this board and try another one.
